Break out your favorite festive (wool-free) knit, start streaming Mariah Carey (“it’s tiiiiiime”), and get detangling the string lights. Starbucks’ new holiday menu drops tomorrow, which means the season to be merry is officially upon us. And this year, the coffee chain has several veganizeable options in the lineup.

New for 2026, matcha fans can sip the brand-new Iced Sugar Cookie Cream Matcha, which can be easily ordered without dairy. “Smooth, creamy matcha gets a holiday twist with sugar cookie cream cold foam and festive red and green sprinkles,” says Starbucks.

There’s also the new Apple Pomegranate Refresher, which “features crisp apple flavors and popping pomegranate-flavored pearls.”

Like most refreshers, the drink can also be paired with lemonade or even coconut milk to make the new, creamy Snowy Apple Drink.

Starbucks is also bringing back the fan favorite Iced Sugar Cookie Latte and the Peppermint Mocha, both of which can be ordered with dairy-free milk alternatives.

Seasonal non-dairy cold foams are making a comeback, too, including Gingerbread Cream Cold Foam, Peppermint Chocolate Cream Cold Foam, and Sugar Cookie Cream Cold Foam.

And, as a reminder, Starbucks no longer charges extra for non-dairy options.

A spokesperson confirmed to VegNews that all beverages made with caramel brûlée sauce, caramel sauce, white chocolate mocha, dark chocolate curls, and new velvet mascarpone sauce can’t be made vegan.

So, unfortunately, this means the new Tiramisu Velvet Latte and the Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew are off limits.

Starbucks also hasn’t released any festive vegan food options, but plant-based diners can still opt for the Spicy Falafel Pocket, which first appeared on the menu in 2025.

TLDR? This year’s vegan-friendly holiday drinks and add-ons at Starbucks are:

  • Apple Pomegranate Refresher

  • Snowy Apple Drink (that’s the Apple Pomegranate Refresher with added coconut milk)

  • Iced Sugar Cookie Latte

  • Iced Sugar Cookie Cream Matcha

  • Peppermint Mocha

  • Gingerbread Cream Cold Foam

  • Peppermint Chocolate Cream Cold Foam

  • Sugar Cookie Cream Cold Foam

The entire menu will be available from November 5.

Peet’s has also just announced its new festive lineup, which includes a new Holiday Spice Latte and a Peppermint Mocha, both of which can be ordered dairy-free.

“Holiday coffee has a way of bringing people back to the moments and traditions they look forward to every year,” said Cara Schlanger, Peet’s Director of Retail.
